Azerbaijani diplomats hold special session at Karabakh University

A special Khankandi session themed "Azerbaijan's foreign policy after the restoration of sovereignty: priorities, opportunities and challenges" was held at Karabakh University within the framework of the 9th Meeting of the heads of diplomatic service bodies, 1news.media informs, citing Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry.

The ministry noted that the meeting participants familiarized themselves with the restoration and reconstruction work carried out in the city of Khankandi, including the conditions created at Karabakh University.

Later, at the opening ceremony of the Khankandi special session, the rector of Karabakh University Shahin Bayramov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov, and Deputy Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Khankandi city, Aghdara and Khojaly districts Sabuhi Gahramanov delivered speeches.

The speeches emphasized the importance of the historical decision of the President of Azerbaijan regarding the establishment of Karabakh University, and discussed the work done at the University, the conditions created, as well as the restoration and reconstruction work carried out in the city of Khankandi in general.

As part of the special session, participants attended a concert program prepared by the Faculty of Arts of Karabakh University.

During the concert program, examples of Azerbaijani and world music were performed by the faculty's teachers and students.
