Ahmad Vahidi named new IRGC commander

Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi has been named the new commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

He succeeds Major General Mohammad Pakpur, who was killed in recent U.S.–Israel airstrikes.
