Iran stops steel exports after major industrial damage
An executive directive issued by Iran’s Customs Administration on the prohibition of exporting various steel products has been circulated to relevant authorities.
1news.media reports, citing Fars News, according to the information, major industrial facilities in the country—particularly large metallurgical enterprises such as Mobarakeh Steel of Isfahan and Khuzestan Steel—have suffered serious damage as a result of strikes by the United States and Israel.
It should be noted that, according to official statistics, Iran ranks 10th in the world in steel production. Last year, the country produced 32 million tons of steel.
