Erling Haaland changes name on back of Norway shirt
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has changed the name on the back of his Norway shirt.
1news.media informs, citing ESPN, the 25-year-old will now include his full surname to read "Braut Haaland."
Until now, Haaland had used only his father’s surname, but he has now chosen to add his mother Gry Marita Braut’s name as well. This means the striker will represent Norway with both of his parents’ surnames.
Norway are in Group I alongside Israel, Italy, Estonia and Maldova.
The forward, who has 42 goals in 43 gamed for Norway, will be hoping to guide his country to the World Cup, having never played at a major international tournament in his career.
