Northern Cyprus government allocates land for construction of Azerbaijan Cultural Center

The Foundations Administration of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has allocated a land plot for the construction of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center.

The center will be built in the Küçük Kaymaklı district of Lefkoşa. Orhan Hasanoğlu, President of the Azerbaijan-Cyprus Friendship Society, reported that Javanshir Feyziyev, head of the Milli Majlis working group on interparliamentary relations with the TRNC, recently visited the designated project site.

“The member of parliament shared his suggestions and expressed hope that this initiative will contribute to the development of ties between the two countries,” Hasanoğlu said.

He emphasized that the Azerbaijani Cultural Center will serve not only to promote Azerbaijani culture but also to showcase the traditions, customs, and values of other Turkic peoples.

Hasanoğlu expressed his gratitude to the TRNC leadership, including Professor Mustafa Tümer, head of the Foundations Administration, for their support.
