An art exhibition commemorating the memory of Khojaly victims and children affected by wars was opened in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament.
The exhibition entitled "War Through Children’s Eyes" showcased paintings submitted by children across various countries, including the United Kingdom.
The exhibition was organized as part of an international art competition marking the anniversary of the Khojaly tragedy, calling on visitors to pay attention to the human stories behind wars, and the pain that children endure.
Narmina Mammadova, one of the organizers of the exhibition, noted that the main goal of the project is to give a voice to children affected by war and convey their feelings through art. The paintings reflect emotions such as sadness, strength and hope.
The competition was first announced in 2022 on the 30th anniversary of the Khojaly tragedy, and up to date, more than 700 children from 40 schools have already participated here.
