The 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum, under the theme “Digital Pathways: Strengthening Information and Media Resilience in the Age of AI,” has commenced in Khankendi. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is attending the event.

Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone conversation with Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.

The conversation covered issues arising from the existing strategic partnership relations between the two countries, opportunities for expanding the bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda, as well as regional and international security matters of mutual interest.

Discussions revolved around the political, economic, security, and humanitarian aspects of the Azerbaijan-Pakistan strategic partnership based on mutual solidarity, friendship, and brotherhood. The sides underscored the importance of taking advantage of the existing opportunities to further enhance cooperation.

They also discussed collaboration within regional and international organizations, including the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

During the phone conversation, the parties also exchanged views on other issues of mutual concern.
