Zelensky: only US can stop the war

Only the United States has the political and financial power to stop the war.

He stated that Congress should take steps to strengthen post-war security guarantees.

“To be honest, today only Europe is defending Ukraine, providing money and assistance. But only the United States can stop Putin.

There are certain signals coming from the US, from President Donald Trump. They say it is time for compromise. We must move forward. We have made many concessions. Putin and his friends are still not in prison. That is the biggest concession the world has made so far. We agreed to a ceasefire, but Putin refused,” Zelensky added.
