In the first 11 months of last year, Azerbaijan exported 520,989 tons of urea worth 163.4 million US dollars.
1news.media reports that according to calculations conducted based on data from the State Statistics Committee, this is 45% more in value terms and 1.8% more in quantity than the same period in 2024.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan sold 388,299 tons (+51%) worth 123.7 million USD to Ukraine (2.2 times more than a year earlier), 70,242 tons worth 20.5 million USD to Canada (there were no supplies a year ago), 22,408 tons (+7.6 times) worth 6.1 million USD to Argentina (+8.9 times), 13,000 tons worth 4.7 million USD to India (there were no supplies a year ago), and 10,900 tons (-87%) worth 3.7 million USD to Turkey (-78%).
Of the 564,922 tons of urea exported from Azerbaijan in 2024, 50% went to Ukraine.
