The US expands Iran sanctions

The US Treasury Department has expanded sanctions against Iran, imposing restrictions on 11 individuals and 13 entities.

1news.media reports that this was stated in a statement by the ministry's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Among the officials subject to sanctions are Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, as well as regional police chiefs in Lorestan and Fars provinces and commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
