Shoigu and Larijani discuss bilateral security ties

A telephone conversation took place between the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergei Shoigu, and the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Larijani.

1news.media informs that TASS reported on this.

Shoigu stated in the telephone conversation that Moscow is ready to develop mutual relations with Tehran. It was noted that contacts between the parties will continue.

Shoigu said that Russia is ready to develop bilateral cooperation based on the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement signed with Iran on January 17, 2025.

The interlocutors agreed to continue contacts and coordinate positions in order to ensure security.
