Iranian officials barred from European Parliament

 Iranian diplomats and other officials have been banned from entering the territory of the European Parliament.

1news.media reports that the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, decided on this.

"The Parliament will not serve to legitimize a regime that maintains power through torture, repression, and murder," she said.

It should be noted that the 15-day protest in Iran over the economic situation is accompanied by riots. It is claimed that more than a thousand protesters have been killed so far.
