Volodymyr Zelensky is contradicting himself when talking about the conditions of the presidential elections in Ukraine.
1news.media reports that this was stated by the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, to TASS.
"Zelensky is actively commenting on Putin's statement on the elections in Ukraine, but there is a contradiction in what he said. In response to Putin's offer to guarantee the security of the elections, he says that he will not allow anyone, including Putin, to interfere in the elections. However, before that, he appealed to the Americans.
This means that he (Ukrainian President VolodymyrZelensky - ed.) does not object to the intervention of the Americans, but objects to Putin doing it," Peskov noted.
According to the Kremlin spokesman, this discussion is a reaction to the recent statements of the Russian leader:
"The topic is relevant. Of course, this is a reaction to Putin's speech."
