Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that he will visit Saint Petersburg, Russia, for the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting – the summit of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) member states.
1news.media informs "There is an international event that I need to attend. It’s the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, and I must go," the Prime Minister said at a press briefing, noting that his participation had been planned well in advance.
The summit is scheduled to take place on December 21.
An informal CIS summit will also be held on the same day, as well as the following day. It is unclear if Pashinyan will attend the informal CIS summit as well.
