Azerbaijani referee appointed to Europa League match

Azerbaijani FIFA referee Elchin Masiyev has been appointed to a UEFA Europa League match.

1news.media reports, citing the official website of the European football body, that he will officiate the Matchday 6 main stage game in Germany between Freiburg and Austria’s Salzburg.

Masiyev will be assisted by Elshad Abdullayev and Parvin Talibov. Aliyar Agayev will serve as the fourth official.

It should be noted that the Freiburg–Salzburg match will take place on December 11.
