Russia’s spy chief visits Ankara

The head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, has paid a working visit to the Turkish capital.

It was noted that the meetings during the visit focused on resolving the military conflict in Ukraine.

The publication wrote that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan commented on Naryshkin’s visit.

“Mr. Naryshkin was in Ankara yesterday, and there he informed us about Russia’s position regarding Trump’s peace plan. There has been some progress on this issue, and we have assessed all of it,” the outlet quoted Fidan as saying at a press conference in Berlin.
