US and Russia near framework deal to end Ukraine war

The United States and Russia may agree on a framework agreement to end the war in Ukraine in the near future.

1news.media informs that Politico, citing a White House official, wrote about this.

The publication notes that US President Donald Trump's team has held talks with Russia without the participation of the European Union and Ukraine. The White House intends to present the results of these talks to Kiev as a final decision that has already been made.

According to the information, the new US plan may be presented to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a meeting with a US military delegation on November 20.

Earlier, Axios reported that the US and Russia are discussing a 28-point peace plan. This plan includes four categories: peace in Ukraine, security guarantees for it, security in Europe, and future relations between the US, Russia, and Ukraine.
