Bayramov condoles Fidan over plane crash

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, called his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan.

C. Bayramov expressed his condolences over the crash of the Turkish C-130 military transport plane that was flying from Azerbaijan to brotherly Turkiye and went down in Georgian territory. He conveyed his sympathy, prayed for God’s mercy upon the deceased crew and soldiers, and wished patience to their families.

It was noted that the Azerbaijani side is in contact with the relevant state bodies of Turkiye and Georgia regarding the accident. Azerbaijan expressed its readiness to provide all necessary support for eliminating the consequences of the crash and carrying out search and rescue operations.

Hakan Fidan thanked him for the condolences and the support shown on this difficult day.
