Venezuela did not ask Russia for military aid

Venezuela has not requested military assistance from Russia regarding U.S. activities.

1news.media reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said this.

“No, we have not received such a request. However, Washington’s actions under the pretext of combating drug trafficking are unacceptable,” Lavrov stated.

It was previously reported that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro had sought military support from Russia, China, and Iran.
