Trump says NYC Mayor-elect Mamdani must work with Washington

President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that New  York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani should seek a fresh relationship with Washington, warning that Mamdani stands to lose a lot if he fails to cooperate.

1news.media informs, citing Reuters, in an interview with Fox News anchor Brett Baier, Trump said he is willing to talk with Mamdani, but emphasized that the new mayor needs to be respectful of Washington — and its financial support of the city — if he wants to succeed.
