The current Hungarian government will not agree to Ukraine's membership in the European Union.
1news.media reports that these words were said by Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó.
"The Hungarian people have clearly stated that they do not want Ukraine to become a member of the European Union. The admission of new members to the EU requires the unanimous consent of all member states. Since Hungary and the Hungarian people have clearly stated that they do not support Ukraine's membership, Ukraine will not be a member of the European Union," it is noted.
It is worth noting that the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, stated that Albania, Moldova, Ukraine, and Montenegro will become EU members by 2030.
