Trump and Xi may meet at G20 and APEC summits

In addition to state visits in 2026, US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping may meet at the G20 summit in Florida and the APEC summit in Shenzhen.

1news.media reports that US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent made this known in an interview with CNBC.

He noted that next year, Trump will visit Beijing, and the Chinese leader will visit the United States.

"They may also meet in Doral (a suburb of Miami, Florida) and then in Shenzhen in November," Bessent said.
