Moscow says 11 Ukrainian commandos killed near Pokrovsk

The Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed the landing of a Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) special forces unit near Pokrovsk and announced that the group was eliminated.

1news.media reports that, according to the ministry, the landing attempt by the GUR special operations unit was intercepted about one kilometer northwest of the Krasnoarmeysk settlement.

It was noted that all 11 Ukrainian special forces members who landed by helicopter in Pokrovsk were killed.
