Italy prepares 12th military aid package for Ukraine

Italy is preparing its 12th military aid package for Ukraine.

The aid will include SAMP/T missiles and ammunition.

The Italian government has sent weapons and equipment worth about 3 billion euros to Ukraine since the start of hostilities. This military aid includes, among other things, two SAMP/T anti-aircraft missile batteries.

In addition, Rome's plans include joining NATO's initiative to purchase US-made Patriot systems, and this operation will be carried out at the expense of European funds.
