Zelensky: West’s silence emboldens Putin

There has been no dignified or strong response from the international community to Russia’s continued and escalating attacks on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure. The West’s silence gives Putin an excuse to continue his aggression.

1news.media reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this.

“There is no worthy and powerful global response to everything that is happening — to the growing scale and brazenness of the attacks. That is exactly why Putin is doing this: he simply laughs at the West, at its silence and its lack of a firm reaction,” Zelensky said.
