Expert: Azerbaijan secures historic victory with U.S.-brokered peace treaty

“Azerbaijan’s diplomatic success was underscored as Armenia and Azerbaijan signed a U.S.-brokered peace treaty, bringing a long-awaited resolution to the Karabakh conflict outside the OSCE Minsk Group framework,” Muhammad Ali Pasha, foreign affairs expert at The Europe Today, senior expert at the Belgium-based media house EUReflect, and author of several books, told 1nws.media.

“The unanimous decision by the OSCE to wind down the Minsk Group reflects a recognition that the conflict has now reached a decisive and peaceful settlement, marking a historic victory for Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and stability in the region.

This milestone demonstrates Azerbaijan’s commitment to peace and progress, as decades of negotiations culminated in an agreement that opens the door to regional cooperation, security, and prosperity,” he emphasized.

“The peace accord stands as a testament to Azerbaijan’s resilience and diplomacy, ensuring that future generations will inherit a more stable and united South Caucasus,” Muhammad Ali Pasha added.
