Russian forces attacked energy infrastructure in Kyiv

Russian forces attacked a thermal power generation facility in the Kyiv region.

 1news.media informs the Ministry of Energy reported on Telegram.

“The goal is obvious: to cause even more hardship to the peaceful population of Ukraine, to leave Ukrainian homes, hospitals, kindergartens and schools without light and heat,” the ministry wrote on the Telegram messaging app, adding that rescuers and energy specialists were working on site.

Earlier, several local Telegram channels reported that the Trypillia Thermal Power Plant had been targeted, leading to power outages in nearby settlements and parts of Kyiv.
