Cargo ship hits a mine off the coast of Odesa

A civilian cargo ship struck a mine in the Black Sea, off the coast of Odesa.

1news.media reports according to Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk, no crew members were injured in the blast.

“An inspection of the vessel is underway. It may be able to continue its voyage,” Pletenchuk noted.

Ukrainian Telegram channels identified the vessel as the NS Pride, a Belize-flagged cargo ship.
