Two Azerbaijani rowers aim for 'medal rush' at 2025 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships

Two Azerbaijani athletes will challenge for world titles and aquatic glory at the Canoe Sprint World Championships 2025, set to take place in Milan, Italy, on August 20-24.

Azerbaijan’s hopes will be pinned on Jeyhun Valikhanov and female rower Tatyana Smilovenko.

The championships will feature more than 800 athletes from almost 70 nations.
