The Taliban government is shutting down beauty salons in Kabul on a large scale.

It is noted that as part of continued strict restrictions against women, hundreds of beauty salons in Kabul have been closed.

“The Taliban are raiding buildings in Kabul, destroying beauty salons or confiscating their equipment. This has dealt a serious blow to the economic livelihood of women working there,” the report stated.

It was also reported that nearly 60,000 women were employed in beauty salons in Kabul.
