Istanbul Airport sets passenger record

Istanbul Airport has hosted a record passenger traffic.

1news.media reports that this was stated by the Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloghlu.

The Minister emphasized that the number of passengers registered at Istanbul Airport on July 27 was a first in the history of the airport:

"On July 27, 2025, 272,132 passengers were registered at Istanbul Airport. This was the highest number achieved by an airport in Europe in a single day."
