Pakistan, UAE elected members of INTOSAI Governing board

Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) were elected members of the Governing Board of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) for 2025-20231.

The relevant decision was adopted during the 62nd meeting of the Governing Board of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) in Baku.

Six ASOSAI members were contending for the memberships, namely South Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Pakistan, Thailand, and UAE.

Thirteen countries took part in the voting, including Azerbaijan, China, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and the UAE.

Japan and Thailand were elected to represent ASOSAI in the INTOSAI Governing Body for the 2019-2025 term.
