International travelers tour Lachin city
As part of their visit to Azerbaijan’s Karabakh and East Zangezur regions, members of the Most Traveled People (MTP) international travelers club, representing 15 countries, toured the city of Lachin on July 11.
According to 1news.media ’s regional correspondent, the travelers first visited the shooting pavilion of the “Hochazfilm” creative studio, where they were briefed on the filming activities conducted there.
During the visit, the first letter was sent abroad via Lachin’s post office. The letter was mailed by Irish traveler David Joseph Langan to Dublin, Ireland.
The travelers then proceeded to the “Yurd Gallery” and became acquainted with the works of local artisans.
The delegation is led by Charles Veley, a seasoned traveler and founder of the MTP club.
Throughout their three-day journey, the travelers are set to visit the districts of Fuzuli, Khojavend, Shusha, Khankendi, Khojaly, Aghdam, Kalbajar, Lachin, Zangilan, and Jabrayil. The trip plays an important role in promoting Azerbaijan’s liberated territories within the framework of dark tourism.
Over the past four years, international travel delegations have visited the Karabakh and East Zangezur regions a total of thirteen times.
