Leaders and representatives of political parties visit Aghdam
Chairmen and representatives of political parties operating in Azerbaijan visited the city of Aghdam.
As 1news.media informs, trips of political party chairmen to the territories liberated from occupation are an integral part of the political dialogue environment encouraged in Azerbaijan.
Such trips, organized in recent years to Aghdam, Shusha (2 times), Zangilan (2 times), Khojaly, Askaran, Khankendi, Lachin and Jabrayil, have already turned into a positive democratic tradition, and their implementation serves to preserve the atmosphere of solidarity in society, as well as to mobilize the intellectual potential of the people.
Within the framework of the political dialogue environment, encouraged by the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, various projects with the participation of political parties have been regularly implemented in Azerbaijan over the past five years. The strategic goal of all initiatives is to preserve national solidarity, as well as to mobilize patriotic forces for the development of the state and society.
During the trip, which took place in an atmosphere of business-like and active exchange of opinions, the head of the department for relations with political parties and legislative power of the Presidential Administration, Adalat Veliyev, speaking before politicians in Aghdam, detailed the work done within the framework of political dialogue, which is developing in the country on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev to deepen democratic traditions.
The program of the trip to Aghdam, which was attended by chairmen and representatives of political parties operating in the country, as well as political scientists, political commentators, heads of internet television and newspaper editors, was quite intensive. They familiarized themselves with the activities of the Aghdam railway and bus station complex. Then the trip participants were provided with detailed information about the construction work carried out in the village of Khydyrly. The guests also visited the Aghdam Mugham Center, Aykol Manas Secondary School in Khydyrly village, Aghdam Congress Center and Aghdam City Hotel, as well as the Imaret complex and Juma Mosque.
Detailed information about the Aghdam Industrial Park was also presented. In the park, 27 business entities received resident status, and 6 entrepreneurs received non-resident status. The total investment volume exceeds 238 million manats. These 33 business entities plan to create a total of 2,090 jobs in the industrial park. To date, residents have invested more than 72 million manats in the industrial park, creating about 300 permanent jobs.
The trip participants were also informed about the work being carried out within the framework of the Great Return Program. To develop the tourism potential of Aghdam, it is planned to create hotels, recreation areas, and rural tourism will also be developed. New infrastructure projects will become a source of employment and income for people who will return to Karabakh.
