Rashad Nabiyev joins ministerial roundtable at WSIS+20 High-Level Event 2025

Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, participated in the ministerial roundtable held as part of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS)+20 High-Level Event 2025 in Geneva.

In his remarks, Minister Nabiyev highlighted that Azerbaijan had advanced nine positions in the UN's E-Government Development Index and is now recognized as one of the countries demonstrating rapid progress in e-government. He also emphasized that Azerbaijan ranks first among the CIS countries in the International Cybersecurity Index.

The Minister further noted that Azerbaijan has become the first country in the region to develop a National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy.
