Filmmakers of Azerbaijan and Israel present collaborative project

“The Journey of Our Love,” jointly produced by Azerbaijani and Israeli filmmakers with organizational support from the Israel-Azerbaijan International Association (AZIZ), was screened at Magsud Ibrahimbayov’s Creative Center.

The event was attended by prominent public figures and artists.

The film, created by Israel’s Shlomi, portrays the enduring love between an Ashkenazi Jew of Azerbaijani origin and a Muslim Azerbaijani, while also celebrating the friendship between the peoples of Israel and Azerbaijan.

Mikhail and Yegana Salman, the film’s protagonists, currently reside in Israel and, as diaspora activists, have significantly contributed to strengthening ties between Azerbaijan and Israel.

Rufat Asadov (Azerbaijan) served as writer and director; Shaul Siman-Tov (Israel) as producer; and Royal Guluzade, Vusal Nazimoglu, and Sarkhan Madatli (Azerbaijan) worked as cinematographers.
