Speaker of Milli Majlis: During our Chairmanship of the TURKPA, all steps were undertaken to foster the organization

“During Milli Majlis’ Chairmanship of TURKPA, all steps were undertaken to strengthen interparliamentary relations and the activities of TURKPA,” said Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis, as she addressed a meeting of the TURKPA Council of Assembly in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.

She noted that TURKPA is not just an ordinary international platform, but also an organization that unites representatives of the fraternal peoples who share the same roots, common national and spiritual values.

Sahiba Gafarova emphasized that while the cooperation between the fraternal countries is developing day by day, the effective activity of TURKPA provides parliamentary support for the expansion of unity and solidarity among the nations. The organization also provides an opportunity for the unified position of the Turkic world to be heard on international parliamentary platforms.
