Lithuanian President barred from Vilnius Book fair opening

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda was not given the floor at the opening of the Vilnius Book Fair.

“The reasons for this decision were voiced in September, when Ignotas Adomavičius, a representative of the Zarya Nyamunas party, was the Minister of Culture. This decision caused protests in the cultural community,” the report said.
