Russia warns citizens against travel to Venezuela
The Russian Ministry of Economic Development has advised Russian tourists to avoid traveling to Venezuela and recommended that tour operators suspend selling trips there.
1news.media informs, citing TASS, “The Ministry recommends that Russian citizens refrain from traveling to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for tourism purposes unless absolutely necessary, until the situation stabilizes. Russian tour operators and travel agencies are also advised to halt the promotion and sale of tours and related services to Venezuela,” the statement said.
Russians currently in Venezuela are urged to exercise extra caution, follow official guidance from local authorities and Russian diplomatic missions, and strictly adhere to their instructions.
The warnings come “in connection with US military aggression against Venezuela and the threat of further attacks.”
