Besiktas legend Faruk Karadogan has died at the age of 77.

1news.media informs the club’s press office confirmed the news.

“Faruk Karadogan, one of our legendary players who wore the Besiktas jersey from 1965 to 1972 and played a key role in our two league titles during that period, has passed away. We will always remember his contributions with respect. We extend our condolences to his family, loved ones, and our community,” the club said in a statement.

During his career, Karadogan also played for Genclerbirligi and Adanaspor.
