D-8 Media forum to convene in Baku tomorrow

Tomorrow, the D-8 Media Forum will be held on the theme "Promoting Dialogue, Cooperation and Regional Solidarity" with the participation of heads of media agencies and leading media entities of the D-8 Economic Cooperation Organization member states, other high-ranking representatives, and renowned experts in the field.

1news.media reports that the Media Development Agency (MEDIA) has published information about this.

The forum, organized by MEDIA, will discuss issues such as improving information exchange at the regional and international levels, strengthening cooperation in the media field, forming joint mechanisms to combat disinformation, promoting joint projects in the direction of digital media, and sharing experiences.

Within the framework of the forum, it is planned to organize two panel sessions on the topics of "Responsible Journalism and Digital Innovation" and "Strategic Communication and Crisis Management", as well as a workshop on "Media Ethics in a Digital World: Technologies, Trends and Narratives".

A total of about 150 guests will participate in the forum, including 71 foreign representatives from 8 countries and the Organization's Secretariat.
