Explosions rock Kyiv, leaving one dead and ten injured
Explosions have occurred in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv.
1news.media reports that Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko shared this on his Telegram channel.
According to Klitschko, severe fires have broken out in non-residential buildings in the Desnyan and Darnitsa districts of the city. In the Dnieper district, residential buildings were damaged, windows were broken, cars were rendered unusable, and a crater formed in the yard of one of the buildings.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, stressed that a kindergarten located in the same district was also damaged in the attack.
It was reported that 8 people were injured as a result of the attack, 3 of whom were hospitalized.
After the strikes on the capital, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of the threat of a ballistic attack throughout the country.
