Zelensky revokes citizenship of Odessa mayor and others

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree on the deprivation of citizenship of Odessa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov.

It is reported that former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev and ballet dancer Sergey Polunin were also deprived of citizenship.

It should be noted that after a meeting with the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Malyuk, Zelensky announced, without naming them, that the Russian citizenship of certain individuals had been confirmed and that appropriate decrees were being prepared.
