6.4-magnitude earthquake strikes Kamchatka

An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 occurred in the Kamchatka Territory of Russia.

1news.media reports that the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported this.

The tremors were recorded 224 km southeast of the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka.

The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 19.9 km.
