6.0-magnitude earthquake strikes off Taiwan

An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale struck off the northeastern coast of Taiwan.

1news.media reports, citing foreign media, that the tremors were felt in the capital Taipei, as well as in Taoyuan, Tszilun, and Yilan provinces.

There were no reports of damage or casualties.
