The guests first toured the city of Shusha accompanied by Heydar Mammadov. They visited the Yukhari Govhar Agha Mosque, the museum-mausoleum complex of Molla Panah Vagif, Jidir Duzu Plain, and other historical and cultural monuments. The delegation was deeply impressed by Shusha’s unique architectural style, ancient history, and breathtaking natural landscapes. They described the city as a heritage site of great cultural and historical significance.
The visit continued in Khankendi. After viewing Victory Square, the guests visited Garabagh University, where they were welcomed by Rector Shahin Bayramov. He briefed them on the university, its activity, and upcoming tasks.
During the visit, the delegation familiarized themselves with the scientific and educational process, academic environment, and development prospects of the institution. They highly appreciated the university’s operation based on modern approaches, emphasizing that its educational environment will contribute to the region’s intellectual development. They also welcomed future cooperation with the university.
As part of the trip, the representatives also viewed architectural monuments, cultural centers, and other historical sites in the city center of Khankendi. Officials praised the ongoing restoration and development works, praising the city's image, which successfully preserves history while integrating modernity.
