Europe urges Trump to include Ukraine in talks

European officials are trying to persuade President Donald Trump that Ukraine should be at the negotiating table.

"European Union countries want Trump to hear their views before his planned meeting with Putin in Alaska on August 15. They are eager to participate in the negotiation process, but this is considered unlikely," the NYT wrote.
