Zangilan has become another stop for the world travelers visiting Garabagh and East Zangezur, led by Harry Mitsidis, a British citizen of Greek origin and the founder and head of the "NomadMania" club.
During the visit to Zangilan, the travelers will observe the ongoing construction of the Horadiz-Agband highway and railway.
The current delegation for the two-day visit includes 79 people from 37 countries, marking the largest group of world travelers to visit Garabagh and East Zangezur to date.
"NomadMania" establishes its ranking table by dividing the Earth into 1,301 regions. Harry Mitsidis currently holds the top rank worldwide, having visited all 1,301 regions extensively. Notably, "NomadMania" held its annual meeting in Azerbaijan for the first time.
This visit is of exceptional importance for promoting the liberated territories within the framework of "dark tourism" and for showcasing the large-scale construction and restoration efforts currently underway.
Through major international traveler clubs, 15 visits to Karabakh and East Zangezur were organized between 2020 and 2025; this trip marks the 16th such visit.
