As part of the 6th session of the Egyptian-Azerbaijani Joint Committee for Intergovernmental economic, scientific, and technical cooperation in Cairo, Azerbaijan and the Arab Republic of Egypt organized a business forum for with the participation of companies from both countries.
Supported by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and co-organized by Azerbaijan’s Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) and the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) of Egypt, the event brought together representatives from over 20 companies.
Rashad Nabiyev, Co-chair of the Commission from Azerbaijan, Minister of Digital Development and Transport, expressed his confidence that such events would expand economic relations between the two countries, increasing trade turnover, and creating new opportunities for mutual investments.
Noting the wide opportunities for exporting Azerbaijani digital products to Egypt, Minister Nabiyev also provided information about the discounts and privileges applied to IT companies in Azerbaijan's high-tech parks.
The participants also emphasized that boosting the activities of the Azerbaijan-Egypt Business Council might contribute to the development of trade relations between the two countries.
The meeting also highlighted investment opportunities in both countries, the concessions applied in the Alat Free Economic Zone, as well as other industrial and technology parks in Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan invited Egyptian companies to consider investment opportunities in the country.
