Baku Initiative Group to establish networking group with UN experts and scientists

“We, as the Baku Initiative Group, will establish a networking group with experts and scientists employed within the United Nations, and we will continue our fight against colonialism on a scientific level in the future,” said Abbas Abbasov, Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group, in a statement to journalists.

“As you know, one of the main challenges today is the situation of peoples living under colonial oppression, whose voices have neither reached international organizations nor the global community. In this context, the Baku Initiative Group has organized around 10 international conferences at the UN headquarters, successfully bringing the voices of all territories under colonial rule to the attention of the world,” Abbas Abbasov emphasized.
